  Purchase process is challenging in this industry. Rather than have universal upfront pricing, dealers opt to make this feel like purchasing a used Car. I'm game to negotiate which I did, but I planned on purchasing a Hot Tub for relaxation from my job which requires lots of negotiating. If someone forward thinking in this backwards industry which seems to be stuck in a 1970's sales model , would realize that most customers that are spending 10k plus don't have the need, want, desire, or knowledge base required to install a hot tub on there own, they would corner the market. For example why not offer a service when someone walks in such that you charge x dollars upfront to send out a tub technician to survey your site as for the right size, location and review the tub types that fit budget and need. I would have gladly paid said fee rather than end up with a tub that barely fits on my deck and does not accommodate the tub opener which was part of my "deal". Best case scenario you end up with informed purchasers and a potentially lucrative new revenue stream. Instead it's every man or woman for themselves. Sales person who will remain nameless used every old school tactic in the book and created some new ones. I would give her/him negative stars if it was possible. The capper was complaining about having to take a reduced commission on the great deal that I was given!!! Note the exclamation points as there were many of them used in an email from her to me two days before my tub was to be delivered which made me out to be unscrupulous for trying to negotiate on my own behalf and ensuring the agreement made was lived up to. 1 star goes to the Manager Zack for saving this deal from falling apart, 2 stars goes to the Jacuzzi, it's an amazing product. 1 more star goes to Cynthia she is a pleasure to deal with, knowledgeable, friendly, welcoming, everything that I would associate with positive.
